Sometimes people post a Cash Bond directly with the Department of Homeland Security (formerly INS) to obtain an alien’s release. However, when the case is completed, they may have a problem securing a prompt refund from DHS. Our first recommendation to clients is always to post cash through our company as we can issue a refund check within three (3) days after the Bond Cancellation form is issued. If you have deposited funds directly with DHS for an immigration bond, we have a program whereby we can refund the bond amount to you, less a small processing fee. If you have the “Notice – Immigration Bond Cancellation” form I-391 and the “Receipt of Immigration I-305 Officer – United States Bond or Notes, or Cash, accepted as security on Immigration Bond” form I-305, we can advance you the refund or help secure the refund if you have had problems. Sometimes we can help you get the Bond Cancellation form. Contact us at 1 800 628-8888. Fax copies of the documents to us at (213) 628-2741 with your contact telephone number and the best time to return your call.
